Baer Ridgway Exhibitions is delighted to present It’s My World, a group exhibition featuring works by artists responding to ever changing landscapes and the individuality of every environment, whether they be natural, man made or a con-flux of the two. Placing a strong emphasis on the use of unexpected materials, abstracted forms and the examination of time, It’s My World is an exhibition of painting, drawing, video and sculpture In contrast to the cyclic nature of ecosystems, a landscape is evolutionary, a history of continuous alterations.

From geological forces giving rise to land formations to human-mediation and biological invasions, instruments are constantly at work altering landscapes on minute and sublime scales. This exhibition focuses on artists examining these issues as well as their own subjective stance, challenging the viewer to reconcile another unique world view or cosmology not their own.
